Worked as a chef for many years in different places such as The Copthorne Hotels and many more, and also worked at Hallows Fruiters.
He has lived in Farnworth for 17 years this December.
He lived with his partner Janet Savage for 17years, hes got one daughter Chelsea Parker who is 16 this year. He was an only child to Kate Pearce and Gordon Wrennall. He didn't have a big family, he had a cousin Mark Heaps who he was very close to.
On the 12th March, Nick fell and smacked his head in his kitchen, this cut then clotted up, but later on he fell again and moved the clot so when he had lay down blood had travelled to his brain and caused serious damage, he then fell unconsious and was taken to Royal Bolton Hospital where they said it was very serious and that he had to be transferred to Hope Hospital for an operation. When we reached Hope Hospital they told us at tea time that it was so bad they could not do anything, my mum and his mum stayed over night. The following morning they took him off his breathing machine, but they realised his breathing was going worst and he wasnt going to survive, they told us they was about the size of the top of your finger of his brain still working so if he had woken up he wouln't of been able to do anything. He then passed away at 11:00am on the 13th of March. Nick use to always say his lucky number was 13 but it wasnt that day. His funeral was held at St Stephens Church Kearsley on the 27th March. Hundreds turned up at the funeral he had the best send off ever.
Nick was a wonderful person he always spoke his mind and told people what he actually thought and thats why people liked loved him so much. He was a hard worker and did anything for everyone. He was loved by many people and taught people different stuff. He was a wonderful dad to me we were more like best friends, he ment the world to me and now he has gone my life has completly changed.. He was very close to his mum Kate and loosing him has been a very big shock. He was full of life and always winding people up. He was the worlds best chef and cooked for so many fampus people at The Copthorne such as Alex Ferguson. Daddy you are truely missed by me and many more, not a day goes by where i dont talk or think about you. Your are one in a million dad you did absolutly everything for me, i never no who to go to when i down now because i used always go to you. I no you are always going to be watching over me and keeping an eye on me. You are now my guardian angel daddy and ill always be daddy's little girl no matter where you are. Till that day i see you again my life will never be the same.
